Cameras, NVR and PoE
A system is three jobs: see, record, and power. Buy them as a set, not as leftover parts.
Cameras capture the scene. Count doors, tills and yards, then add one spare channel. A four-camera shop does not need a 16-channel recorder.
NVR (network video recorder) stores and searches footage. Channel count must meet or exceed the cameras you will run, including growth. Match recording resolution to the cameras — a 4K bullet on an entry NVR that cannot write 4K will downscale.
PoE switch sends power and video on one Ethernet cable. Port count should cover every PoE camera plus a spare. Wireless or solar cameras skip the switch for that run but still need a recorder or app login.
Our shop kits bundle a typical camera, recorder and switch. For a site that does not fit a kit, get a quote.
